In The Box:
The DJI RS2 is a professional solution for dynamic cinematography designed for DSLR and mirrorless cameras, designed to provide industry leading stabilization and features. Thanks to new stabilization alogrithm, the RS2 is capable of maintaining smooth, stable performance even in the most demanding scenarios.
Design
Thanks to the monocoque carbon fiber construction, the RS 2 is incredibly light at just above 1kg yet does not compromise on payload capacity supporting camera and lens combinations weighing upto 4.5kg making it the best weight to payload ratio in the industry.
Each axis arm can be individually locked simplifying balancing of the gimbal during setup as well as making storage easy. Onboard buttons allow users to control the gimbal, switch profiles and operating modes. When used with the correct camera control cables, the RS 2 can also provide control over camera functions like focus, shutter, recording, etc.
With the RSA/NATO ports, accessories such as the Focus Wheel and Twist Grip Dual Handle can be used.
Full - Colour Touchscreen
Convenient, full colour touchscreen right at your fingertips to quickly adjust parameters and access all the features of the Ronin mobile app right on the RS 2.
The LCD displays battery status, mode indicator, camera status, gimbal balance quality status and more.
The LCD screen also provides the option to select your Active Track target when used with Ronin RavenEye Image Transmission system.
Teflon-Coated Arms
The RS 2 gimbal arms are teflon coated to allow smoother movement of the arms through the locks to balance it smoothly.
Convenient Dual Layer Mounting System
Redesigned camera mounting plate to ensure compatibility for most popular brands.
Stabilization
Titan: DJI Stabilization Evolved
Titan Stabilization Algorithm captures smoother footage than ever. SuperSmooth compensates for micromovements and increases torque, stabilizing even 100mm zoom lenses.
Auto Tune
Auto Tune and DJI RS 2 automatically calculates the result based on the weight of the gimbal setup. Alternatively, press and hold the M button and trigger simultaneously for four seconds to start Auto Tune without using the app.
Focus System
The RS 2 features a built-in front dial ergonomically placed right above the trigger to control focus or zoom right from the handle.
3D Focus System
The 3D Focus System measures the distance between the lens and your subject to precisely set focus. This system uses ToF sensors and provides precise focus even in low light conditions making it perfect for using autofocus on even manual or wide-aperture lenses.
Focus Motor Compatibility
The RS 2 is compatible with the DJI Focus motor system to provide focus or zoom control with unsupported or manual lenses. When used with the 3D Focus System, the RS 2 can precisely adjust focus on most cameras and lenses even in low light.
RavenEye
Wireless Video Transmission System
The RavenEye system provides 1080p video transmission from the camera to a mobile device upto 100m away with very low latency of 50ms. Conveniently mark your subject on the remote live view on your mobile device to start ActiveTrack 3.0 and track the subject accurately with your main camera.
When used with Force Mobile, RavenEye enhances responsiveness of the entire system by decreasing latency.
Using Force Mobile, the user can control gimbal movements by rotating and tilting your smartphone device, users can control the gimbal, to achieve expressive, fluid shots with ease.
Creative Functions
