Notes - Osmo 360 II

  1. When capturing 360° content, each of the two CMOS sensors on the Osmo 360 II features an imaging area equivalent to a 1 inch CMOS sensor with a 4:3 aspect ratio.
  2. Dynamic range data was measured in a controlled laboratory environment in Panoramic Video mode (8K/30fps), with Normal colour mode selected, Auto exposure enabled, and Metering Mode set to Front and Back Metering.
  3. An upgraded ion sputtering coating process is applied to both lenses. After enduring 2,000 rubs with steel wool, the Osmo 360 II lens coating remains entirely smooth and flat with zero impact on optical imaging. Data was collected in a controlled environment and is for reference only.
  4. Spotlight Follow mode allows you to export flat video at up to 4K/30fps.
  5. Compatible accessories are available for purchase separately.
  6. Best suited for night scenes where illuminance exceeds 10 lux.
  7. 16K 360° Timelapse videos can only be exported using DJI Studio. The DJI Mimo app allows for previewing but cannot export these files. Refer to DJI Studio for exact export specifications.
  8. Using native 8K/60fps 360° footage, the AI frame interpolation in DJI Studio can generate up to 8× slow motion video. This achieves a smoothness equivalent to cropping 8K/480fps 360° footage. Since 360° video requires field of view cropping when exported as a flat video, the final export resolution will depend on your specific software settings.
  9. Support is limited to Mac computers featuring Apple silicon.
  10. Requires the Osmo Vortex Rotating Handle, available separately.
  11. D-Log M is not supported in Photo, Timelapse, or Endurance Mode. Selecting D-Log M disables Adaptive Tone and Film Tone.
  12. Requires the DJI Mimo app or DJI Studio to export.
  13. Before using this feature, ensure that your smartphone has NFC turned on and the DJI Mimo app installed.
  14. Playing back single lens files or selecting multiple pano files automatically downloads them to your phone. Playing back a single pano video opens the panorama video editing interface directly in the DJI Mimo app.
  15. For best results, operate Voice Control within 1 metre in quiet surroundings and Gesture Control within 2 metres. Actual effective ranges can vary based on firmware updates.
  16. Before use, make sure the battery compartment cover and USB-C Port Cover are securely closed. Using the camera without the Waterproof Case is not recommended for extended underwater shooting or high impact water environments. The camera features an IP68 waterproof rating. Do not expose it to hot springs, extreme underwater conditions, or corrosive and unknown liquids. While the standalone camera is waterproof to a depth of 10 metres, the convex fisheye lens design causes underwater light refraction, leading to image distortion and stitching errors. For this reason, always use the Waterproof Case for underwater shooting.
  17. Motion Blur is currently supported exclusively on Mac computers with Apple silicon using DJI Studio, and on iPhone 14 or later models using the DJI Mimo app.
  18. Compatible with cycling data from Apple Watches, Garmin devices, and third party FIT files.
  19. Measured under laboratory conditions at 25° C (77° F) while recording 8K/30fps 360° video, with Wi-Fi, Gesture Control, Voice Control, Editing Assistant, and screen turned off. Data was collected in a controlled environment and should be taken as reference only. When activating and using the Osmo 360 II in the EU and UK, actual battery life may vary due to local regulations regarding product operating temperatures. Please refer to actual user experience.
  20. Measured in a laboratory environment at 25° C (77° F) using a USB-C charger supporting standard PD 3.0 protocol with a maximum power output of 30 W or higher, with photo, video, and screen functions turned off.
  21. The camera does not support a direct connection to the first generation DJI Mic. All DJI microphones are sold separately.
  22. In Panoramic Video mode, the Osmo 360 supports recording panoramic video at up to 4K/100fps to achieve a 4× slow motion effect. This effect must be applied by slowing down the footage during post production.
  23. The Osmo 360 Invisible Waterproof Case is sold separately. When using the Osmo 360 Invisible Waterproof Case underwater, the safe stitching distance is 1 metre. Data was collected in a controlled water pressure environment within a DJI laboratory and should be used as a reference only. Actual performance may vary based on your specific diving environment and product condition.

The Original Osmo 360

All in One

Portability Meets Power

Compact Design

Thanks to an innovative stacked design, Osmo 360 fits two large 1-inch lens
modules [1] into an ultra-compact body. Weighing just 183 grams, it delivers incredible imaging power without the bulk.

100-Min 8K/30fps Continuous Recording

Engineered for endurance, this camera records continuous 8K/30fps video for up to 100 minutes [2], so you never miss a moment. For ultimate endurance, switch to 6K and film for an incredible 190 minutes straight [7]. This is performance that lets you focus on the moment, not the clock.

105GB Built-in Storage

A massive 105GB of storage is built right in, so you can record freely without worrying about running out of space. You have all the space you need to start shooting anytime and anywhere.

High-Speed Transfers

The camera supports fast file transfers with Wi-Fi 6.0 and USB 3.1. You can transfer files wirelessly at speeds up to 90 MB/s or use a wired connection for speeds up to 600 MB/s [8], simplifying how you manage large video files.

Stereo [9] Recording

The device is equipped with four built-in microphones for immersive, all-direction stereo sound. It supports both Mono and Stereo recording modes and features an advanced wind noise reduction algorithm to ensure clear audio capture, even in windy conditions.

Covered Battery Compartment

The battery compartment cover is secured by a release button with a left-right sliding mechanism. This design prevents accidental openings and ensures the battery does not fall out, providing an extra layer of protection so you can operate the camera without concern.

RockSteady 3.0 and 360° HorizonSteady

HorizonSteady reduces shake and corrects any horizontal tilt within a 360° range, making it ideal for intense action with lots of rotation.

In single-lens mode, RockSteady 3.0 also smooths footage but is designed to retain a sense of motion for a more dynamic and immersive first-person perspective.

Ready for Any Element

DJI's Osmo 360 is built for extreme conditions. It can record for over 1.5 hours in temperatures as low as -20° C (-4° F) [10] .
IP68 waterproofing provides underwater action for up to 10 meters without a case [11].

DJI Device Ecosystem

Osmo Magnetic Quick-Release

Easy Magnetic Charging

The Battery Extension Rod [13] snaps effortlessly to the Osmo 360's built-in charging contacts, providing up to 180 extra minutes of 8K 360° recording [2]. The Battery Extension Rod also includes sleep, wake, and shooting functions, allowing for convenient remote control of the camera.

OsmoAudio™

The Osmo 360 connects directly with two DJI microphone transmittors [3] without a receiver, ensuring that both you and your partner are heard with stunning, studio-quality clarity. Furthermore, Osmo 360 simultaneously records mbient sounds when the built-in mic audio backup is enabled. This infuses your video with an immersive, more natural atmosphere.
