Notes

* All videos and images displayed here were captured by professionals using the DJI Neo 2 in strict compliance with local laws and regulations. Please note that these materials have been edited in post-production and are for reference only; actual results may vary. Always adhere to local laws and regulations and confirm you have the necessary certifications and airspace authorizations before flying.
** Data was obtained from testing a production model DJI Neo 2 in a controlled environment. Actual performance may differ depending on your usage, operating environment, and firmware version.
*** Note that all product images, videos, and screen contents shown here are illustrative and for reference only. The actual product's effects (like appearance, color, and size) and on-screen displays (like backgrounds or UI) may differ.

  1. The DJI Neo 2 is the smallest drone in the DJI lineup as of November 2025 that is equipped with omnidirectional obstacle sensing.
  2. The omnidirectional vision system serves only to assist flight safety under certain conditions and is not a substitute for your own judgment and control. You must always maintain control of the drone, pay attention to the surrounding environment, and heed warnings on the DJI Fly app. The system's best positioning range is 0.5 to 10 m in the absence of GNSS signals; performance may decrease outside this range, so fly with caution. The vision system may not function properly over water, mirrored, or strongly reflective surfaces (like ice), and may not actively prevent landing on water. Do not rely solely on the system when flying in such areas. The vision system cannot reliably detect certain objects or surfaces, including: thin obstacles (fences, branches, power lines, thin poles), complex structures with frames and cables (cranes, high-voltage lines), surfaces that are extremely dark or bright, textureless, solid-colored, or have repetitive patterns, and any moving obstacles (people, vehicles, waving grass). You must never obstruct the sensing system; ensure all lenses remain clear, clean, and scratch-free, removing any protective film or smudges with a lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or other solvents. Avoid flying when it is rainy, smoggy, or visibility is lower than 100 m. If the sensor glass is damaged or loose, the drone must be sent to an authorized service center for repair.
  3. You must follow several conditions and precautions when using gesture control. For safe operation, ensure the surrounding environment is safe, actively avoid moving people, animals, or vehicles, and never use the feature near small or thin objects (like branches or power lines), transparent objects (like glass or water), or on solid-colored surfaces (like white walls). This feature requires suitable lighting; gesture control will not function if ambient light is below 5 lux or above 100,000 lux. Additionally, gesture control is only supported in Spotlight or Follow mode and cannot be used when operating with the remote controller or motion controller. When making gestures, keep the drone approximately 2 to 5 m from the operator and ensure your fingers are fully extended; avoid wearing thick gloves or mittens, and make sure the subject is completely visible in the camera frame without any obstructions. If using Return to Palm, maintain a horizontal distance of 2 to 5 m and a vertical distance of no more than 2 m between the drone and your palm. If the drone does not respond at close range, adjust its position via gesture control or move yourself to clear any visual blind spots before trying again. Finally, to command the drone to fly back by raising one arm, keep the drone within 10 m horizontally of your arm and ensure your arm is fully extended when raised; remember not to raise both arms simultaneously, as this will prevent the drone from flying back.
  4. It is recommended to use the ActiveTrack feature in open environments to ensure optimal performance. When flying in complex environments that contain many obstacles, you must exercise extreme caution when utilizing the Auto mode to guarantee both flight safety and personal safety. For a complete list of unsupported scenarios or situations that could potentially interrupt recording, please refer to the user manual.
  5. When performing palm takeoff and landing, you must adhere to several guidelines for safety. It's best to operate in an environment with minimal wind. Always extend your palm horizontally and keep it still, taking care to avoid contact between your fingers and the propellers to prevent injury. Crucially, do not attempt to grab the drone while it is in flight.
  6. The Versatile Flight capability refers to the DJI Neo 2's improved ability to fly both indoors and outdoors, offering greatly enhanced performance compared to the DJI Neo, particularly in challenging conditions like flying over water or snow. However, you must always ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, certification requirements, and airspace authorizations, making sure you understand and have obtained all necessary permissions before operating the drone. Be aware that flight performance may decrease if the drone is flown near solid-colored, transparent, or low-texture surfaces under weak GNSS signal conditions. Always fly with caution in well-lit environments, and when flying over water, maintain an altitude of at least 1 meter to ensure safety. For complete details, always refer to the product’s user manual.
  7. Maximum resolution for the vertical shooting mode is 2.7k.
  8. You'll need either the DJI Goggles N3 or DJI Goggles 3, paired with the DJI RC Motion 3 or DJI FPV Remote Controller 3. When flying with DJI Neo 2, remember to follow all local laws and regulations and prioritize flight safety.
  9. Only English and Mandarin are supported.
  10. Connecting the DJI Neo 2 to a mobile phone via Wi-Fi is required.
  11. For mobile device compatibility, please refer to the official DJI Fly app download page. For Bluetooth compatibility, please refer to the official DJI Bluetooth Device Compatibility List.
  12. Operation requires the DJI Neo 2 Digital Transceiver, its remote controller, and compatible goggles. You can purchase these components through combo kits or purchase them separately.
  13. The 10km video transmission range requires FCC compliance. This range was tested in ideal, interference-free conditions. Note that the actual flight distance will limit the usable video transmission range. Always monitor RTH reminders on the live view during flight for safe return.
  14. The maximum speed was measured in an open, windless environment, with the drone launching from a 0 m altitude and controlled by the remote controller. Please note, these figures are for reference only.
  15. You can only record 4K/100fps slow-motion video when operating with a remote controller or motion controller.
  16. The ability to turn stabilization On or Off is only functional when goggles are connected. If stabilization is disabled, the resulting footage is compatible with offline Gyroflow stabilization.
  17. The number of batteries that can be charged at once is determined by the charger's wattage. Using a charger rated 45 W or above enables simultaneous charging of three batteries. Chargers between 30 W and 45 W can charge only two batteries concurrently. If the charger is rated below 30 W, batteries will charge sequentially (from highest to lowest remaining charge). Always verify the charging protocols supported by your specific charger.
  18. These results were obtained in a controlled laboratory setting with little interference, specifically in areas supporting both 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz. Keep in mind that actual download speeds will vary based on your environment.
  19. The measured result reflects an ideal test scenario: 4 m/s forward flight, no wind, 20 m altitude, and without the DJI Neo 2 Digital Transceiver installed. Camera settings were fixed at 1080p/30fps (video mode off), and the test ran from a full charge to empty. Performance in real-world use is subject to variation due to environmental factors, operational methods, and firmware.
  20. Measured upon activation of the DJI Neo 2 using a full battery and default parameters, specifically testing the Circle, Rocket, and Dronie modes. Results are provided strictly for reference.
  21. The measured weight figure omits the DJI Neo 2 Digital Transceiver. The actual product weight is subject to variation due to manufacturing batch material differences and external conditions.
  22. Final product weight can fluctuate based on material batches and external factors.
  23. The measured result reflects an ideal test scenario: 2 m/s forward flight, no wind, and 20 m altitude. Camera settings were fixed at 1080p/30fps (video mode off), and the test ran from a full charge to empty. Performance in real-world use is subject to variation due to environmental factors, operational methods, and firmware.
  24. Results were obtained in ideal, open, interference-free outdoor conditions. Please note that the actual video transmission distance you experience will be influenced by your operating environment and the performance of your mobile device.
