It's All About Speed

Quick-Release Plates
Mounting a camera to the RS 3 is quick and easy with the dual-layered quick-release plates, with no need to re-balance the gimbal after swapping out a new battery or memory card.

When changing lenses, a newly incorporated fine-tuning knob on the tilt axis allows the camera to glide forward or backward with millimeter-grade precision, making precise balancing easier.

Automated Axis Locks
RS 3 lets you get up and running quickly. When the gimbal is powered off, you are able to start working in seconds; press and hold the power button, and the three axes unlock while the gimbal expands automatically. By pressing the power button once, the axes automatically lock and enter sleep mode, making transportation more efficient for users. Press and hold the power button and it will fold and lock automatically.

Wireless Shutter Control
The RS 3 provides wireless shutter control thanks to Dual-Mode Bluetooth, which saves time and effort with every use. After the initial Bluetooth pairing, you can control video and photo shooting by simply pressing the record button on the stabilizer. After the initial use, previously paired cameras will automatically reconnect, removing the need for a camera control cord.

Excellent Weight-to-Payload Ratio
The RS 3 can be held easily in one hand, weighing only 1.3 kg/2.8 lbs (including gimbal, battery grip, and quick-release plates). Its 3kg/6.6lb load capacity can confidently support mainstream cameras such as the SonA7S3 or Canon R5 with a 24-70mm F2.8 lens.

3rd-Gen RS Stabilization Algorithm
The DJI RS 3 delivers greater stability thanks to a next-generation RS stabilization algorithm. RS 3 gives a 20% boost in stability over RSC 2, allowing you to smoothly manage low-angle pictures, running scenarios, and moving between high and low positions, according to laboratory testing.

Beyond Smooth
When you need even smoother results, turn on SuperSmooth mode. The RS 3 will boost motor torque to improve stabilization even further, resulting in steady film even in fast-moving situations or while using 100mm-equivalent focal lenses.

1.8" OLED Touchscreen
In comparison to the RSC 2, which has a black and white screen, the RS 3 has a 1.8-inch OLED full-color touchscreen with an 80% bigger display. With the revamped user interface, it also supports most Ronin app settings, offering straightforward and accurate control.

Instant Mode Switching
You may choose between Pan follow, Pan and Tilt follow, and FPV modes by sliding the new gimbal mode switch. The FPV mode selection is also customizable to 3D Roll 360, Portrait, or Custom, allowing you to adjust your equipment and get started quickly.

Customizable Front Dial
You can regulate zoom and focus by rotating the front dial. It can also be customized to control the shutter, aperture, ISO, or gimbal movements of the camera, making it ideal for single-handed use.

Efficient Video Transmission

Monitoring via Smartphone
The Ronin Image Transmitter (formerly known as the Ronin RavenEye Image Transmitter) is compatible with RS 3 and can send 1080p/30fps HD live feeds to a mobile device. The maximum transmission distance is 200 metres, with an end-to-end delay of 60 milliseconds. For wireless monitoring, a smartphone may be connected to the NATO port on the RS 3 using the phone holder.

Integrated Monitoring and Control
Through the Ronin app you can remotely adjust camera exposure, or control the gimbal with the virtual joystick to obtain integrated monitoring and control experience.

Force Mobile
A smartphone may be used as a motion controller to remotely operate the RS 3 gimbal with the Ronin Image Transmitter, allowing for more versatile and dynamic camera movements.

A Battery Built for Pros

Quick-Release Design
When compared to the RSC 2, the new RS 3 battery grip has a cartridge design, making it easier to swap batteries and smaller for storage. The batteries can even be charged independently from the gimbal.

12-Hour Operating Time + Fast Charging
The new battery grip has a 12-hour runtime, which allows for continuous shooting throughout the day. It supports 18W PD fast charging and takes only 2.5 hours to charge. It can even be used while charging which enables the RS 3 to be powered practically indefinitely.

New Briefcase Handle
The revised briefcase handle is collapsible for easy storage and features a new ergonomic grip that makes installing and switching to Briefcase mode easier and faster. External displays may be connected to the built-in cold shoe mount and 1/4"-20 mounting holes for shooting assistance, making low-angle camera movements more intuitive.

All-New Focus Motor
The next-generation DJI RS Focus Motor (2022) provides torque three times stronger (up to 1 N·m) and audible noise is reduced by 50%.
This allows for a more smoother experience while also reducing the impact on audio recording. It also has a quick-release construction that allows it to be assembled quickly and effortlessly without the use of any tools.

Vertical Camera Mount
Install the Vertical Camera Mount to attach the camera to the RS 3 vertically while bypassing camera ports, enabling easy portrait photography at various angles for high-quality social media material.
