IN THE BOX:
With omnidirectional obstacle sensing and a 4/3 CMOS Hasselblad camera, you can capture legendary content while flying smoothly. Every upgrade to the DJI Mavic 3 raises the bar for what aerial photography can be. Fly with the Mavic 3 and discover imaging above all else.
DUAL CAMERA SYSTEM
HASSELBLAD L2D-20C CAMERA
Hasselblad, the iconic Swedish camera brand, has customised the L2D-20c aerial camera for the DJI Mavic 3, integrating a professional-grade 4/3 CMOS sensor in a sleek and compact form. Hasselblad standards are applied to both hardware performance and software algorithms, elevating imaging quality to a whole new level.
Camera Highlights
4/3 Inch Image Sensor
A larger image sensor not only provides Mavic 3 with higher resolution and dynamic range, but it also suppresses noise more effectively in low-light environments. In low-light situations, a larger sensor keeps images clean and free from grain.
Wider Dynamic Range: 12.8 Stops
The 4/3 inch image sensor has a 12.8-stop dynamic range, which allows for more detail in highlights and shadows, elevating imagery to a professional level. Greater dynamic range allows for even more natural transitions between highlights and shadows, retaining rich visual information and adding depth to images.
Aperture Control
Aperture adjustment is available to meet the needs of aerial photographers in a wide range of lighting situations.
Wide Field of View
The 24mm equivalent autofocus lens weighs only 12.5 g and has an 84° field of view to capture more details with sharp clarity.
Vision Detection Auto Focus (VDAF)
VDAF technology, which works with multiple vision sensors to use distance data and optimise focusing speed, is built into the Hasselblad camera on the Mavic 3.
HASSELBLAD NATURAL COLOUR SOLUTION
The Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution (HNCS) is a result of decades of photographic experience, and it comes standard on the Mavic 3. This ensures vividly accurate natural colours that look fantastic even without the use of presets or post-production editing.
Post-Processing No Longer Needed
Hasselblad's philosophy has never included relying on complex post-processing. The Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution (HNCS) ensures natural and highly accurate colours are captured, starting at the pixel level of the sensors, no matter where you're shooting.
Pixel-Level Calibration
The L2D-20c lens adheres to the same stringent standards as other Hasselblad cameras to ensure Mavic 3 captures colour with the same iconic quality. Every pixel of the sensor is calibrated with the HNCS embedded to ensure Mavic 3 captures colour with the same iconic quality as other Hasselblad cameras.
Colour Accuracy
During shooting, RGB color data obtained by the sensor will be converted through Hasselblad's unique image processing algorithm and color processing mode, delivering the best possible natural colors in any scene.
TELEPHOTO CAMERA
The Mavic 3 camera system is equipped with an additional 1/2" CMOS powered 12 megapixel telephoto zoom camera with up to 28x Hybrid Zoom. Use the telephoto camera to zoom in on distant scenes or subjects to save time. It can even be used to record distant subjects without disturbing the scene. With a 162mm, f/4.4 lens, the telephoto camera adds a new, unique aspect to your aerial imagery.
VIDEO
Mavic 3 records aerial videos at high resolutions and frame rates thanks to its professional imaging performance. A 10-bit D-Log colour profile on the camera captures up to one billion colours, allowing for natural colour gradations and advanced post-production flexibility.
Video Highlights
Apple ProRes 422 HQ encoding is supported on the Mavic 3 Cine, with a maximum data rate of 3,772 Mbps. It also includes a 1TB SSD and a 10Gbps lightspeed data cable, making professional filming, editing, and creation even easier.
ADVANCED FLIGHT
Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing
The advanced safety features of the Mavic 3 allow you to spend more time concentrating on getting the perfect shot. Multiple wide-angle vision sensors work in tandem with a high-performance vision computing engine to precisely detect obstacles in all directions and plan safe flight paths around them.
Advanced RTH
Advanced RTH allows Mavic 3 to automatically determine the best route back to its home point and complete a safe return flight on its own, allowing any flight to end on a high note. Mavic 3 can easily return to its home point, whether it is activated by the user or triggered by signal loss.
Advanced Pilot Assistance System (APAS) 5.0
The Mavic 3 also adds to the fun of flying by allowing you to record without being interrupted by obstacles. When flying, Mavic 3 detects objects in all directions and smoothly and quickly avoids them. Even when flying in complex environments, you can relax and enjoy your flight without fear of accidental contact while recording smooth footage all along.
Extended Flight Time
During a single flight, accomplish every step from route planning to composition and even record a hyperlapse video. The Mavic 3's wind resistance is 50% higher than its predecessor, and it has a 46-minute flight time thanks to a more efficient propulsion system and a large battery.
Long Range Transmission
Mavic 3 not only flies farther, but it also transmits signals with greater stability and less video lag, giving you greater peace of mind during flight.
When O3+ signals are blocked by buildings, trees, or other structures, Mavic 3 can use the optional Cellular Transmission Dongle to switch to 4G networks for a smooth, stable connection. The O3+ transmission system works in tandem with 4G transmission during flight, seamlessly switching between the two to ensure a seamless shooting experience.
Full HD Video Transmission with Smooth Live Feed
The Mavic 3 is the first DJI drone capable of transmitting a 1080p/60fps live feed. This indicates that the camera view is displayed at a resolution that is close to what the camera records. It also improves Mavic 3's responsiveness to your commands.
