How do I pair the DJI Mic Mini 2 transmitter with a receiver?
Your combo's transmitters and receiver are already paired right out of the box. If you ever need to link them manually, here is how you can do it:
DJI Mic Mini Receiver:
Method 1 (Automatic): Simply place both the transmitters and the receiver into the charging case, and they will link automatically.
Method 2 (Manual): Power on the transmitters and the receiver, then press and hold the Linking Button on both devices. The System Status LED on the transmitter will blink green and blue alternately to indicate that linking is in progress. Once the LED turns solid green, the linking process is complete.
DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver:
Standard Pairing (Green LED): To connect Mic Mini or Mic Mini 2 transmitters, press and hold the Linking Button on the mobile receiver until the Transmitter Status LED flashes green. Next, power on the transmitters and press and hold the Linking Button on each one in turn to enter pairing mode. When successfully linked, the LEDs on both the transmitter and the receiver will turn solid green.
Advanced/Mixed Pairing (Blue LED): If you need to connect two DJI Mic 2 or Mic 3 transmitters—or use a mix of Mic Mini, Mic Mini 2, Mic 2, and Mic 3 units—you must use the blue light mode. Double-press and hold the Linking Button on the mobile receiver until the Transmitter Status LED flashes blue. Proceed to pair your transmitters; once successful, the LEDs on both the transmitter and the receiver will turn solid blue.
To cancel the linking process at any time, simply power off the devices.
How many recording modes does the DJI Mic Mini 2 have?
The DJI Mic Mini 2 features three distinct recording modes: Mono (M), Stereo (S), and Mono Safety Track (Ms).
In Mono Safety Track (Ms) mode, the dual audio tracks must be separated during post-production.
What are all of the features of the DJI Mic Mini 2 Charging Case?
The DJI Mic Mini 2 Charging Case allows you to conveniently store your transmitters with the windscreens, magnetic front covers, and magnets (or magnetic clips) still attached. The inside of the lid provides extra space to store either an audio adapter cable or your magnet and magnetic clip. Please note that if you are storing the DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver, the lid's storage capacity is adjusted: the left side can accommodate a magnet or magnetic clip, while the right side can only fit a magnet. In terms of battery life, a fully charged case can recharge two transmitters and one receiver roughly 3.6 times.
On a full battery, the DJI Mic Mini 2 Charging Case (1 TX + 1 Mobile RX) can recharge a transmitter approximately 1.3 times. For added convenience, the case is designed to store the transmitter with its magnetic front cover and magnet (or magnetic clip) still attached. Additionally, the inside of the lid features space to securely store the magnet or magnetic clip.
Storage: To avoid damaging your equipment, please do not stack items inside the charging case.
Storage Limitations: You can only store one accessory—the magnetic clip, the magnet, or the 3.5 mm TRS cable—at a time. Additionally, when storing the DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver, the right slot of the upper tray can only accommodate the magnet.
Compatibility: Both versions of the charging case can successfully store and charge the DJI Mic 3 Transmitter.

Are the DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver Adapters compatible and interchangeable with the mobile phone adapters from the DJI Pocket 2 and the rest of the DJI Mic lineup (Mic, Mic 2, Mic 3, and Mic Mini)?
Compatibility is limited exclusively to the DJI Mic Mini. These adapters are not interchangeable with the mobile phone adapters of any other DJI products.
Can I mix and match the DJI Mic Mini 2 transmitters and receiver with the original DJI Mic, Mic 2, Mic 3, or Mic Mini?
They are exclusively compatible with the DJI Mic Mini. They will not work with components from the DJI Mic, Mic 2, or Mic 3.
What is the maximum transmission range between the DJI Mic Mini 2 transmitter and receiver?
When using two DJI Mic Mini 2 transmitters with a DJI Mic Mini Receiver, the maximum transmission range can reach up to 400 metres in an open, unobstructed environment without signal interference.
When using the DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver with two DJI Mic Mini 2 (or two DJI Mic Mini) transmitters in green light mode, the maximum transmission range is up to 300 metres in an open, unobstructed, and interference-free environment.
The DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver supports a transmission distance of up to 200 metres when operating in blue light mode with any two compatible transmitters (DJI Mic Mini 2, Mic 3, Mic Mini, or Mic 2), provided the environment is open and free of obstructions or interference.
How long does it take to fully charge the transmitters and receiver using the DJI Mic Mini 2 Charging Case? Additionally, how long does it take to charge the case itself?
DJI recommends using a 5V/2A (max) charger to power the DJI Mic Mini 2 transmitters, receiver, and charging case. nder room temperature conditions, it takes roughly 70 minutes* to fully charge the transmitters and 100 minutes* to fully charge the receiver via the case. To charge the cases separately, allow approximately 2 hours* for the standard DJI Mic Mini 2 Charging Case and about 1 hour* for the 1 TX + 1 Mobile RX version.

How can I turn on noise cancelling, and how do I switch between the different noise cancellation levels?
The DJI Mic Mini 2 offers two levels of noise cancelling: Basic and Strong. The method for adjusting these settings depends on your setup:
With the DJI Mic Mini Receiver: To toggle noise cancelling on or off, press the Power Button on the transmitter once. You can switch between Basic and Strong levels within the DJI Mimo app*.
With the DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver: Use the Noise Cancellation Mode Switch on the receiver to toggle between Off (O), Low (L), and High (H). Note that the transmitter's Power Button cannot be used to toggle noise cancelling in this configuration.
With DJI OsmoAudio (Direct Connection): When connected directly to the Osmo Pocket 4, Osmo 360, Osmo Nano, or Osmo Action 6, you can adjust noise cancelling settings directly through the host device's menu.

Does the DJI Mic Mini 2 turn off automatically after inactivity?
The DJI Mic Mini 2 transmitter features an automatic power-saving mode. When turned on, the transmitter will enter sleep mode if it loses connection with the receiver, then automatically wake and reconnect once the signal is redetected.
To use the Auto Power-Off feature, you must first configure it for both your transmitter and receiver using the DJI Mimo app. Once set, the devices will automatically shut down after 15 minutes of inactivity. Here is a breakdown of how the logic works:

How do I change the magnetic front cover on my DJI Mic Mini 2 Transmitter?
The DJI Mic Mini 2 transmitter features an interchangeable magnetic front cover and includes both Obsidian Black and Glaze White options as standard. For further customization, a variety of multi-coloured windscreens and magnetic covers are available for purchase. To swap covers, simply use the groove at the bottom of the transmitter to gently pry the faceplate off and snap a new one into place.

What is the maximum number of transmitters that can be simultaneously linked to a single DJI Mic Mini receiver?
The DJI Mic Mini Receiver and DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver can both connect to up to two DJI Mic Mini Transmitters at the same time.
Is the DJI Mic Mini Receiver compatible with devices featuring XLR input ports?
No.
Can I play recorded audio on my mobile phone when the DJI Mic Mini Receiver is connected?
You can toggle the "plug-free audio playback" setting in the DJI Mimo app. Enabling this allows for phone audio playback while the receiver remains attached. When disabled, you will need to remove the receiver to hear audio through your phone.
Does the DJI Mic Mini 2 support charging both my phone and the receiver at the same time?
Yes. When your phone is connected to either the DJI Mic Mini Receiver (via an adapter) or the DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver directly, you can use the receiver's USB-C port to charge both devices simultaneously with a single cable.
When using a mobile adapter to connect the DJI Mic Mini 2 to my phone, can I still record in Stereo mode?

Does the DJI Mic Mini Receiver provide a digital or analog audio output?
Use the receiver’s OUT port for an analog connection to cameras. For a digital signal, use either the USB-C/Lightning mobile adapters or the receiver’s built-in USB-C port.
What does Auto On/Off With Camera mean? How do I use it?
With the 3.5mm TRS cable connected, you can use the DJI Mimo app to make the DJI Mic Mini Receiver power on and off in sync with your camera for a more seamless workflow.
What is the maximum number of transmitters that can be paired with the DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver at once?
The mobile receiver can pair with up to two transmitters at the same time.

Once successfully linked, the LEDs on both the transmitters and receiver will remain solid blue.

How do I activate noise cancellation on the mobile receiver? Once the receiver is connected, can the noise cancellation settings still be managed directly from the transmitter?
You can quickly toggle noise cancellation levels—Off (O), Low (L), or High (H)—directly on the mobile receiver. Note that when using the receiver, this switch becomes the main controlling method. You will not be able to adjust noise cancellation settings via the DJI Mimo app or the transmitter's onboard buttons.
How do I adjust the gain levels on the DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver?
Once the mobile receiver is plugged into your phone (via USB-C or the Lightning adapter), you can fine-tune the audio gain using the settings menu in the DJI Mimo app.

Can I charge my phone while I use the mobile receiver?
When you plug the receiver into a USB-C plug, it uses the phone's battery to run. If you have an iPhone with a Lightning port, you’ll need to buy a special adapter, DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver Adapter (USB-C to Lightning), to make it work. You can also plug a charging cable into the receiver to charge both your phone and the mic at the same time while you record.
Note: If you unplug the charger, your audio will cut out for a moment. To avoid any recording issues, please keep the power cable plugged in while you are using it.
