Compact Form, Creative Freedom

The DJI Mic 3 Transmitter is a compact, lightweight, and discreet audio device featuring dual mounting options: magnetic and clip-on. Its detachable, rotatable clip allows for precise microphone angle adjustments, including sideways and inverted positions, to ensure optimal audio capture in any environment.

Always Ready

Designed for grab-and-go convenience, the charging case keeps your entire kit in one place. Drop in the two transmitters and receiver without removing their windscreens or attachments, whether it's the clip or the magnet. The lid even features smart storage for your magnets and locking audio cable [1], so you're always organized and ready to record.

Smart Audio Balancing [3]

Automatic

Automatic mode prevents audio clipping, making it perfect for dynamic environments like sporting events where volume levels change suddenly.

Dynamic

Dynamic mode automatically adjusts gain to maintain a consistent volume, making it well-suited for controlled indoor environments like studios.

Shape Your Voice: Three Tones to Match Your Vibe [4]

Regular

Regular is the default option, designed to sound clean, balanced, and just like your real voice.

Rich

Rich boosts low frequencies for a deeper, more impactful presence to your voice.

Bright

Bright enhances the highs, giving your voice a sharper sound with a touch of sparkle.

Smooth Operation with Effortless Control

On-Receiver Parameter Adjustment

The receiver’s 1.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen and dial provide immediate access to key settings like gain, battery status, and modes, allowing for fast, efficient adjustments and flexible operation.

App-Based Control & Firmware Updates

Unlock the full potential of your device with the DJI Mimo app. Connect your phone to remotely fine-tune every parameter with ease and keep your gear current with simple, one-tap firmware updates. It's the most convenient way to manage your settings.

Noise Cancelling [5]

Don't let wind or background noise ruin your take. Attach the windscreen to the transmitter for crystal-clear, professional audio, even on a breezy day or in a crowded space.
It's essential for creating clean audio when vlogging, live streaming, or filming on location.

Basic

The Basic level intelligently filters out the low hum of fans, air conditioners, and distracting room reverb, ensuring your voice remains crisp and clear in any quiet setting.

Strong

The Strong level aggressively cuts through background chatter, traffic, and other distractions, isolating your voice to deliver clear, intelligible audio no matter the environment.

Four-Channel Output [2]

By enabling Quadraphonic mode with select Sony cameras or computer software, the DJI Mic 3 Receiver delivers four completely separate audio tracks. This gives you total control to isolate, mix, and master each sound source independently, taking your post-production to a professional level.

True to the Source

When Lossless Audio is enabled [8], the transmitter sends an uncompressed 48kHz 24-bit signal to the receiver, ensuring recordings are captured with maximum fidelity and stunning detail.

Dual-File 32-bit Float Internal Recording

Data comparison of internal recording durations for original and edited files.

Internal Recording

Never worry about losing your audio. Each microphone saves a backup copy of the sound right inside itself, protecting you from wireless problems. It records two files at once [9], the original version and one that's been automatically improved. This saves you valuable time in editing.

32-bit Float Internal Recording

DJI Mic 3 supports a dynamic range to deliver high-quality recording while adapting to complex sound environments. 32-bit float internal recording allows Mic 3 to capture every nuance of a voice, from whispers to booming decibel levels. It provides enhanced reliability in chaotic scenarios with improved flexibility in post-production.

Precise Syncing with Built-in Timecode

DJI Mic 3 features high-precision timecode support [10]. The transmitter embeds timecode data during internal recording and the receiver supports both timecode output and input. With a drift of less than one frame over 24 hours [11], your footage remains in perfect sync. This allows you to instantly and accurately align all your clips in post-production, dramatically cutting down your editing time.

Straightfoward File Export

When you're finished recording, simply use the charging case and USB-C data cable to connect the transmitters to your computer or smartphone [12]. Instantly transfer all of your internally recorded filesat once. Editing and sharing are easier than ever.

Extended Batteries, Faster Charging

28-Hour Extended Battery Life [13]

The Mic 3 transmitter lasts for up to 8 hours [14], and the receiver up to 10 hours [14]. A fully charged charging case provides roughly 2.4 full charges for a total of 28 hours of extended use [13]. Long live streams or video shoots can be easily handled without worrying about running out of power.

5-Minute Quick Charge

Get up to 2 hours of use after charging for just 5 minutes [15] from the receiver and transmitter. A full charge only takes about 50 minutes thanks to 3C fast charging support. Spend less time waiting and more time creating.

Intelligent Power-Saving Features

Auto Power-Saving [14]

The transmitter features an automatic sleep/wake function. It enters a low-power mode when loses the receiver's range and instantly reconnects when the signal is detected again, conserving battery and enhancing convenience during extended use.

Auto Power-Off

The transmitter and receiver can be set to automatically power off after a period of inactivity on the receiver screen or in the DJI Mimo app. When enabled on both devices, they automatically shut down if not connected for more than 15 minutes. This prevents battery drain and preserves more power.

Auto On/Off With Camera

Auto On/Off can be enabled on the receiver screen or in the DJI Mimo app when Mic 3 is connected to the camera via the 3.5mm audio cable or hot shoe. The receiver can automatically turn on and off along with the camera.

Use While Charging

The receiver can draw power directly from your phone when connected via a cable. Additionally, you can charge both the receiver and your phone simulaneously if you connect an external power source to the receiver's USB-C port. This allows you to keep recording without any interruptions [18].

Connect and Create Instantly

DJI OsmoAudio™ Direct Connection

The transmitter connects directly to Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 4, and Osmo Pocket 3 without needing a receiver [19]. This DJI OsmoAudio™ connection delivers premium sound while simplifying your gear and workflow for a more efficient creative process.

Broad Device Support

The receiver is equipped with multiple ports to handle any scenario: a locking 3.5mm TRS output provides a rock-solid, interruption-free connection to your camera; a3.5mm monitoring port lets you plug in headphones for real-time audio monitoring; a multi-function USB-C port allows you to simultaneously charge the receiver and record digital audio to phones, tablets, or computers. The included adapters ensure you can quickly and efficiently connect to virtually any device.

Bluetooth Direct-To-Phone [14]
