Even in winds as high as 54km/h, the M300 RTK can maintain its position as well as flight path thanks to the advanced propulsion system and flight control algorithms. The M300 RTK can reach flight speeds as high as 82.8km/h.

The Matrice 300 is rated IP45 for ingress protection making it dust and water resistant. The IP45 design gives the M300 the ability to fly in harsh conditions as well as rain. This gives operators the ability to conduct operations in all weather conditions.
The Matrice 300 RTK is designed with extensive system and sensor redundancies for safety and reliability. This includes dual inertial measurement units, if one IMU fails a backup will activate in 200 milliseconds. It also has dual barometers, dual compasses and dual RTK antennas. It is also equipped with an ADS-B receiver minimizing the risk of close encounters with other aircraft.
With a redesigned Primary Flight Display, the pilot can access flight, navigation and obstacle information combined together in one spot for enhanced situational awareness. The redesigned display will show the aircraft's heading, flight path, wind speed and direction as well as all nearby obstacles in a clear, organized way.
