Zenmuse L1

The Livox Mid70 LiDAR Sensor, a high-precision IMU and visual assistant camera with a 20 megapixel 1-inch CMOS camera with a mechanical shutter on a 3-axis gimbal, is built into the Zenmuse L1. The L1 offers an extremely powerful all in one LiDAR solution in the air when used with the DJI Matrice 300 RTK and DJI Terra.

Use the Zenmuse L1 with the DJI Matrice to create real-time 3D Point clouds with extremely high precision and detail for accurate reconstruction.

LiDAR Sensor

Driven by the Livox Mid70 frame lidar, the L1 has a detection range of 450 m (at 80 percent reflectivity and 0
klx) or 190 m (at 10 percent reflectivity and 100 klx) and is capable of up to 100 percent effective point cloud performance.

The sensor Mid70 has an effective point rate of 240,000 pts / s and supports 3 returnsand the point rate is 480,000 pts / s in operations with more than 1 return. This helps the user to calculate Digital Elevation Models (DEM), Digital Surface Models (DSM) and the height of vegetation.

RGB Camera and Visual Assistant

The Zenmuse L1 is equipped with an RGB visual camera operated by a 20 megapixel 1-inch CMOS sensor with a mechanical and global shutter and a Phantom 4 RTK-like adjustable aperture. This visual camera is used by the Zenmuse L1 to provide real-time colour rendering data for the LiDAR module. For point clouds and reality models, this imparts true colour.

The RGB camera also offers simple functions for taking images as well as capturing videos.

In the event of GNSS failure in flight due to surrounding conditions, the auxiliary vision sensor can continuously provide orientation data and vision dependent positioning to maintain altitude data.

High Precision IMU

The onboard IMU has a very high precision of 0.025 ° along the axes of the roll and pitch and 0.08 ° on the axis of the yaw.

The Matrice 300 RTK's on-board IMU and visual assistant and GNSS system, together with advanced sensor fusion algorithms, make the made data accurate at the centimeter level.
